485 Temporary Graduate visa——A temporary visa that allows international students to live, study and work after you have finished your studies in Australia

Graduate Work Stream

This visa is for international students who have recently graduated with skills and qualifications that are relevant to specific occupations Australia needs. It lets you live, study and work in Australia temporarily. The validity of the visa will be changed to 24 months on 1 December 2021. Holders of Hong Kong and UK overseas passports may stay for a maximum of five years.

Visa requirement:

Applicants should be under the age of 50

Have a qualified visa

Hold student visa within the last six months

Have qualifications relevant to the occupations on the Skilled Occupations list

Applied for the corresponding vocational skills assessment

Health insurance certificate

No criminal proof in Australia

English examination report

English proficiency required:

A minimum of 6 in IELTS and a minimum of 5 in each component.

A minimum of 64 for TOEFL iBT, a minimum of 4 for listening and reading, and a minimum of 14 for writing and speaking

The total score of PTE is not less than 50, and the individual score is not less than 36

OET shall not be lower than B

Cambridge C1 should have a total score of at least 169 and a single score of at least 154
