408 Temporary Activity Visa

408 Temporary Activity Visa (Temporary Activity Visa) allows visa applicants to temporarily stay in Australia to engage in related activities: including entertainment performances, participating in or watching Australian research projects, participating in high-level sports competitions or sports training, visiting scholars, religious activities and cultural activities exchange, etc.

If you apply for this visa overseas, you do not need a guarantor if you stay for no more than 3 months. If you apply for a stay overseas for more than three months, or apply in Australia, you need a guarantor.

Eligible family members can be accompanied on the 408 visa.
