New ACS Migration Skills Assessment launches March 2024

The new ACS Skills Assessment system will be launched in March 2024, when ACS will launch a new immigration skills assessment portal.

ACS notes on its website that the new process will provide the following services:

1. Faster processing time and decision making, with skills assessment results in as little as 15 days

   
   

2. More options: Applicants can apply for up to three ANZCO code positions at once

   
   

3. More clarity and guidance to increase the applicant's chances of success

   
   

4. Instant updates, applicants can track the status of the application at any time on the worksheet

If a member has begun applying for an immigration skills assessment, but has not yet paid the application fee, they should complete the application and pay the application fee by March 24, 2024.

The ACS Skills Assessment application fee will increase significantly

The vocational assessment fee will increase from $560 to $1,100-1,450. But an applicant can choose up to three nominated occupations at a time at no extra cost, which is good news for applicants who want to increase their chances of being invited by submitting multiple job evaluations.
