Recommend Project Two
Post-pandemic Employer Nomination Scheme - Immigration Pathway for Short-Term Skilled Occupation List Visa Holders
Starting from July 1, 2022, holders of the 482 visa (short-term list positions) can apply for permanent residency through the 186 visa Temporary Residenc
Transition (TRT) pathway. Previously, holders of short-term list positions could only obtain permanent residency by seeking job sponsorship opportunities within designated regional areas, which were very limited. The new policy offers substantial benefits to three categories of individuals, allowing holders of short-term list positions to also have opportunities for permanent residency.
Category One: Applicants who held a 457 visa on April 18, 2017
Category Two: Applicants who applied for a 457 visa after April 18, 2017, and were subsequently approved for the visa.
Category Three: Applicants who lived in Australia for at least 12 months between February 1, 2020, and December 14, 2021, and were employed by a legitimate Australian business at the time of submitting the 186 Nomination application.
If you belong to any of these three categories, please contact us, and we will find the applicable immigration pathway for you.
